You must read, agree and accept with all the terms and conditions described in this User Agreement and the Privacy Policy, which include those terms and conditions expressly set out below. By accepting this User Agreement, You also agree to be bound by the User Agreements and other posted terms and conditions on the Ministry of Games website. We may amend this Agreement at any time in our discretion. All amended terms shall be automatically effective after they are initially posted on our Sites. If You do not agree with such changes, you may inform us immediately via email and terminate any services with Ministry of Games.
Our services are available to individuals, organizations or agencies that can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. However, children under 16 are to sign up under the knowledge and supervision of their parents or guardians. (Refer to Privacy Policy)
For You to engage our services, You must provide Your information as required by the Agreement form and ensure that all the information must not:
Ministry of Games has a Privacy Policy which applies to all members and is incorporated into this User Agreement by reference. You must read and accept our Privacy Policy upon registration in order to use our services, and You will continue to be bound by its provision while using the services provided by Ministry of Games.
Rental Period will be always be 7 days starting from the day of delivery. Users will be expected to return their games on time if not "Renewal and Late Return" policy will be exercised.
Users are allowed to renew items only before the due date of return via email, subjected to approval and availability of the titles. Any late renewals or returns will be subjected to a late payment fee of $2 per game per day. Customers who failure to settle all payment during returning will be considered breaching the contract.
You may not cancel your order once your order is confirmed. If your order is still pending the company's confirmation, you may wish to drop us an email, informing us your amendments to order.
We provide a free collection and delivery service. Delivery and collection timing will be between 11am to 8pm. For orders made during office hours (9am to 6pm), we will be able to deliver the games to you within 24hrs, or any later date that you requested subject to the availability of the game titles. Delivery and collection of the games are strictly limited to one same location only. No deliveries and collection will be made on Sundays and Public Holidays. No cancellation or amendments will be allowed upon confirmation of the delivery details.
We currently only accept Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.) We will collect the payment from you at the point of delivery; and all prices stated are in Singapore Dollars. All payments must, and can only, be made in cash. No money order or cheque will be accepted.
A quick check and inspection of the items will be done during the collection/delivery to ensure that integrity and condition of the items are not comprise or not met, and result in the items to be incomplete and unusable after collection/delivery. Such breach of maintenance on Your part will make You liable to pay a damage fee. (Refer to Damage Fee)
Reasonable wear & tear is acceptable when you return the rented board games. In cases where any item found damaged or incomplete under the inventory/item check will be deemed to be a mishandling from the user's part and a fee will be charged according. This fee will be used to refurbish/replenish/replace the damage item. The breakdown of the fee is stated in individual games' inventory list. Basically, there are 3 types of damages/losses: Critical, Major and Minor. The damage/loss fee will be tagged to the severity of Critical - 100% cost of the board game, Major - 25% to 75% and Minor - 10% to 25%. So far, the board games we offer for rent are of good quality. We have not encountered any damaged items.
Once an agreement of contract has been signed within the customer and Sandcastles' authorized representative, the contract will take immediate effect. Any request to terminate the contract without the consent of both signing parties will render the request party legal liabilities and compensations for the other party.
All our games are specially selected for their entertainment and educational values and are safe for the stipulated age group. However, Ministry of Games will not be responsible for any loss, damage or cause of death while using our products and services directly or indirectly. Using our services and products will be strictly at your own risks. We strongly suggest that all minors under the age of 16 be supervised by their parents and guardians while playing our games.
